London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE)
BSc Economics
Ambitious, supportive, easy-going
I moved to the UK at 16 to pursue my GCSEs, where I simultaneously began studying AS Level Economics—an experience that sparked my enduring passion for the subject. Achieving an A grade, I advanced my expertise by selecting Economics as a higher-level subject in the IB curriculum and further solidified my decision to pursue the discipline at the London School of Economics. At LSE, I am privileged to learn from globally renowned professors, whose insights continually deepen my understanding and enthusiasm for Economics. My academic journey has been enriched by achievements such as winning a regional Economics competition, where my team presented a nuanced critique of monetary policy’s role in addressing structural inflation issues. This recognition, awarded by a Cambridge Economics professor, highlighted my ability to adopt a broad, analytical perspective on complex problems. Additionally, my IEA internship allowed me to engage with influential economic thinkers and explore the practical applications of free-market principles. I believe the essence of Economics lies in cultivating intuitive understanding, not rote memorization. My tutoring approach emphasizes demystifying theories with real-world examples, enabling students to connect abstract concepts to practical scenarios. Passionate about fostering curiosity and academic success, I inspire students to master Economics while developing critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
