Get to know Edith:

Throughout high school, I have maxed out the academic rigor—including taking 14 AP courses (having self-studied a few), placing in Canada’s top national math contests, and earning Valedictorian in one of Canada’s most prestigious private schools. Although specialising in math and economics, I’ve performed exceptionally on AP Psychology, English Language, Literature, World History, Mandarin, Seminar and Research. Additionally, I’ve explored my academic passions through conducting behavioral economics research at local universities, studying group behavior and choice architecture—all while starting off high school as an timid, lost student. With top university acceptances into their economics and commerce programs (University of Toronto, University College London, University of Pennsylvania, McGill University), I am committed to help your student reach their goals as well, whether it be academics or outside the classroom. As a tutor, I am attentive and detail-oriented, creating supplementary materials when needed. My goal is not just to improve academic performance, but to instill confidence and critical thinking skills—I encourage students to reach out, fostering confidence and essential soft skills for their growth.
