BSc Economics
Ambitious, Resilient, Purposeful
My academic heritage is indicative of a rigorous and comprehensive approach to learning. I relocated to the United Kingdom at the age of 16 to pursue my A-levels, where I achieved excellence in Economics, Geography, Further Mathematics, and Mathematics. Additionally, I completed an Extended Project Qualification (EPQ) to further my intellectual pursuits. I was further solidified in my commitment to Economics when I received a commendation in the esteemed John Locke Institute Essay Competition, which acknowledged my capacity to effectively communicate complex ideas and critically analyse them. I offer a deliberate and interdisciplinary approach to tutoring. I have acquired the ability to simplify complex concepts and customise courses to accommodate the unique requirements of each student as a result of my academic journey. I concentrate on the development of transferable skills and critical thinking, which are essential for students to excel in the application of their knowledge to real-world problems, in addition to their academic performance. My teaching philosophy is founded on the principles of fostering inquiry, fostering independent learning, and assisting students in acquiring a more profound comprehension of the subject matter. I endeavour to motivate academic success by providing students with the resources necessary to confront obstacles with creativity and confidence.
